Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What do I need to get started in an Irish dance class.

All dancers must wear BLACK shorts, skirts, capri or tight leggings and WHITE OR GREEN t-shirts to dance classes.  We request WHITE socks be worn to classes to allow teachers to easily observe and make corrections to foot placement.  Warm ups are allowed for the first 10 minutes.  In order for the instructors to observe foot placement and dancers to do the required dance lifts no skirts below the knee and NO jeans may be worn during classes.  All girls or boys with long hair must wear their hair pulled back during instruction.  There is a drinking fountain in the facility, but we recommend that dancers bring a water bottle.  Dancers may not chew gum during dance classes.
